1998 • The first modern column lift table system was born in Denmark.
John Frost recalled the story of creating the first lifting system for office desks, and said, “Through communication and investigation with customers, we found that what users need is a vertical and smooth lifting and lowering system. A lifting table with a more concise and beautiful structure."
"We entrusted this task to six engineers, three mechanical engineers and three electrical engineers. The real innovation of this new system lies in the relationship between the motor, the spindle and the guiding system, which can almost perfectly control the friction tolerance during the entire lifting movement of the lifting table legs. The design aesthetics is important, but the technology in the lifting column is the core and key.” John emphasized.
Thus, this special project team began this innovative "journey."
Qualitative change from 0 to 1
Lay the technical foundation of modern desk system
Innovation from 0 to 1 has never been easy. This special project team has gone through countless discussions, research and development, pattern making, and testing. Finally, in 1998, in the R&D department in Denmark, the world's first complete modern vertical electric desk lifting system was born.
This system includes a controller that can be used to adjust the height, a control box, and the world's first lifting table leg that can achieve vertical lifting-DL1. The emergence of vertically adjustable lifting table legs and a complete system is undoubtedly one of the most innovative and iconic events in the history of office lifting tables.
The DL1 they created in 1998, a more concise and practical new system, has since opened a new era of electric lifting desks.
